Gail Hersh, Jr. combines his broad background in both law and title to deliver results-driven solutions for MDK's clients. His practice focuses on helping clients resolve complex legal issues that would otherwise hinder transactions.
MDK's Kentucky Practice Group Director, Gail C. Hersh, Jr., brings a unique blend of experience, dedication, and a strategic mindset to transform and improve the landscape of foreclosure and title law in Kentucky. Within the challenging realm of real estate title law, "perfecting processes to make them simple, even in nuanced situations, is a constant drive for me," he says. Gail thrives on challenging the status quo and educating the judiciary on principles critical to smooth foreclosures, contributing to a more efficient and effective legal system.
Gail focuses on achieving efficiency while firmly and professionally articulating the client's position through well-crafted pleadings. Further, “through my practice, I’ve been able to reduce the use of and requirements for affidavits, which delay proceedings, and reduce the inclusion of unnecessary parties, who often require constructive service that delays proceedings in addition to the cost.” Gail's strengths lie in his extensive experience, recognition, and persuasive argumentation, making his practice of law highly effective. As a member of various professional organizations, including the Ohio State Bar Association and the Ohio Land Title Association, Gail has been actively involved in shaping the legal landscape.
Since joining MDK in 2010, Gail's greatest satisfaction comes from collaborating with his exceptional co-workers, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that sets MDK apart from traditional law firms. “Our uncommonness is what sets us apart. We are not confined by what others do or the norms of the past. We carve our own way in navigating the needs of our clients and co-workers" he says. Outside of work, Gail enjoys cooking and cherishing moments with his family.
Gail’s alignment with MDK's values of creativity, engagement, respect, advancement, and collaboration is evident in his relentless pursuit of innovative solutions within the legal realm. His mission is clear – to make Kentucky's foreclosure practice more uniform and more efficient, showcasing his commitment to excellence and innovation in the legal field.
