Meet MDK's Managers: Clark McCleskey

My name is Clark McCleskey, and I am the Operations Manager with our firm’s Post Sale Department. Our team handles an array of responsibilities related to sale confirmations, deed recording procedures, and distribution processes for surplus funds. We work in partnership with MDK attorneys, courts, and regional selling officers, and collaborate with other operational departments within the firm regularly.

I started at MDK in 2011 as a paralegal in our Attorney Support Department and was assigned to a Kentucky portfolio at that time. I became an Assistant Manager for Attorney Support in 2015, and grew my regional responsibilities to include Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida/Timeshare practices with my time in the department.

I recently accepted the Operations Manager position with the Post Sale Department in 2022. I am currently expanding my knowledge on regional challenges facing our clients at the Post Sale stage, while applying my paralegal experience and understanding of judicial procedures to collaborate with our experienced staff. I believe I can provide creative ideas and technological insight, while working closely with a very knowledgeable team to improve processes and timelines for the department and our clients. I plan to engage our department staff with a sense of encouragement and support, and I look forward to helping them achieve advancement in their career goals.

I joined MDK after gaining legal administrative experience with a different regional law firm, and quickly learned that the MDK’s use of technology to streamline complex processes is highly advanced. I was also encouraged by the firm’s organization and progressive foresight, which is beyond what I had experienced in my prior work experience.

I feel very fortunate to have received an opportunity to work for MDK many years ago and feel great appreciation for the many wonderful relationships that I have gained through the firm over the years.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Tara, and four kids Taylor (14), Griffin (10), Avery (3), and Jack (9 months). We enjoy being active as a family, walking parks and attending local events whenever we find time. Tara and I love to attend live concerts, when possible, but have enjoyed karaoke with the kids in the living room just as much over the recent years.
