Meet MDK's Managers: Nora Breckner

I am the Operations Manager of Sale and Post Sale at MDK. These two departments complete the foreclosure process. While Sale works hard to get ready for the foreclosure auction, obtain the sale results, and everything in between, Post Sale handles confirming the sale and tying up all the required details to close our file and convey the property to the new owner.

I have been at MDK since 2007, and have served in many capacities from paralegal to client services (back when it was just two employees!), and entered into management in 2014. I started my career at MDK in Judgment and quickly became interested in MDK’s ability to balance the needs of our clients with court deadlines and requirements. Looking for more efficient ways to handle tasks became a goal for me, and I appreciated how new ideas were welcomed and considered even by a new employee. Resolving issues for the clients, attorneys, and the firm is something I have always been committed to, and management has allowed me to expand that even further.

I am passionate about servant leadership. Growing and developing employees is my biggest reward as a manager. Being a reliable resource for our clients, vendors, and courts is a goal for myself, and for my teams as well. I value collaboration with my team, other departments, clients and others as it assists in ensuring all details and needs are reviewed, and also allows me to view different perspectives. It also helps me to always be learning and growing myself.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband, and two sons. We love checking out all of the Columbus Metro Parks and discovering new and fun places. I love starting my day early by hopping on my Peloton or running with my friends.
